Last Sunday, I woke up at 3 a.m. to drive to Fort Drum. Some may wonder why I would ever wake up at that hour, but it was for a wonderful occasion! Jessica and her two daughters were awaiting Craig’s return home from deployment!
In 2015 I did a pre-deployment photo session with this sweet family! You can view that here. Now, in 2016, their hero returned home!
Jessica’s oldest daughter was so excited to be welcoming her dad home, that she brought her lipgloss to look extra special!
The ceremony began at 4:30 a.m. and everyone in the stands cheered as their loved ones walked out in front of them. A few words were said about these courageous men and women who served overseas and then they were dismissed to be reunited with their families!
Seeing this adorable family reunited was heartwarming. I wish them all the happiness!
