Since moving to Germany from the United States, it has taken a lot of adjustments! We’ve had to learn the driving laws, the quite hour laws and a million other laws that they have over here! Who knew you couldn’t run your lawn mower at 1pm in the afternoon?

Along with the adjustments, we’ve been traveling! So far we have been driving places, but next weekend we’ll be in Portugal! Expect a blog post on that one!

With all of our traveling, decorating our home has been put off, but I managed to get some of it done! Woohoo!! You wouldn’t believe how difficult it was to hang plants from the ceiling. German houses are made out of CEMENT! You have to have special nails to hang things on the wall and special tools to grind through the cement to hang things from the ceiling. Thankfully my husband loves me and was willing to figure it out.

Only a portion of our house has been photographed as I’m not completely done with the rest of it so this will have to do for now! Enjoy!
